Lori Vellucci, President & Founder
Lori is a Marketing Research professional with sixteen years in the business, and a unique combination of agency, supplier and client-side experience. Lori founded Clarity Research Group in 2002 and currently conducts proprietary qualitative and quantitative research and facilitates creative brainstorming sessions for clients in a variety of industries.

Prior to starting her own business, Lori was the Marketing Research Director at The First Years, a $150 million worldwide marketer of juvenile accessories. At The First Years, Lori built the research function from the ground up. She recommended and managed all research for new product development, advertising, marketing communications, drive to web and other strategic initiatives. She was instrumental in developing the corporate brand, communications strategies and new packaging for the company. In addition, Lori facilitated monthly brainstorming and ideation sessions designed to develop innovative new product concepts. During her time at The First Years, Lori interviewed literally thousands of moms and moms-to-be using both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.

Prior to The First Years, Lori was a Senior Planner at Arnold Communications in Boston, where she provided the voice of the consumer for numerous new business initiatives, and acted as a consultant for existing clients in need of product, strategic or advertising research.

Earlier, Lori was Senior Research Manager for Reebok International in Stoughton, Massachusetts where in addition to conducting research for brand Reebok, she conducted research to develop brand communication strategy for individual businesses within Reebok’s core line, and conducted a key strategic brand segmentation initiative as part of the development process for Reebok’s brand advertising campaign for Casual Footwear.

Lori began her marketing career at Marketing Corporation of America, where she became grounded in research fundamentals, utilizing an array of different research techniques to provide marketing insights to a diverse group of clients. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. She has attended a number of executive management development programs, including several Synectics Creativity and Team Building Workshops.
